Posted by Larry Csonka on 05.06.2009

Chris Pine, Anton Yelchin, Ryan Gosling and Aaron Eckhart have all been rumored for the role of The Green Lantern, and now another name enters the mix. According to HitFix.com, Bradley Cooper (Alias, Yes Man, The Rocker and Wedding Crashers) is now in the running for the role. Pre-production for the film begins in July, and shooting begins in November.

Eckhart seems like the obvious choice.. But since he was Harvey Two Face in the DC universe.. I would think they would pass on him..

Can't we just give it to Shia?

I like Cooper, but he's a horrible choice for Hal Jordan. He's be ok later as Guy Gardner.

Honestly Pine is the only choice I like, but Kirk and Jordan are a little to similar.
